Chicken Breasts Diable w/French Fridays with Dorie

A simple pan sauce using a shallot and a few tablespoons each of Dijon mustard, wine and cream takes these chicken breasts from ho-hum to delicious; total effort was less than 15 minutes.  Slow food that is actually quite fast!

Thanks to Wild Crumb for the crusty & flavorful demi baguettes, and Patz & Hall for their lovely Dutton Ranch Chardonnay.

I can see that bread sopping up some of that "devil" sauce!

It did, indeed! And I'll tell you a secret....I made 1/2 recipe for 2 for lunch but didn't exactly 1/2 the sauce...
Mmmmm! ;)

A baquette, bottle of wine, and tasty Chicken Diable. What more does one need in Life? Travel safely and I hope your trip is successful.
